SUMMARY:Disability Gymnastics Session
DESCRIPTION:Bedwas Gymnastics Club provides a safe\, effective and friendly environment in which our members can participate in pre-school\, recreational and competitive gymnastics under the guidance of our qualified coaches. Our British Gymnastics Association GymMark accreditation provides a formal recognition of those achievements. \n\n\n\n​The club is over 45 years old and we have our very own purpose-built facility. We are affiliated with the British Gymnastics and Welsh Gymnastics governing bodies. \n​We have a large team of qualified coaches and sports leaders that dedicate their time to the gymnastics club. All coaches are registered members of the British Gymnastics Association\, are first aid trained and have a safeguarding children qualification. All staff hold a current DBS. \n​Our competition  classes work towards regional and national gradings each year and also achieve club certificates and badges for mastering specific skills. \n​A Community Interest Company (CIC)\, we are mainly run on a volunteer basis\, charging only those fees necessary to run the club. We both thrive and depend upon the community and parental support that we gratefully receive. We have an amazing group of parents who volunteer their time to help with admin.  \n\n\n\nDisability Gymnastics Sessions (4-16 yrs) \nWe are proud to be able to offer disability gymnastics sessions. We have 3 qualified coaches who have attended a disability coaching module and we have also trained sports leaders on awareness around disability gymnastics. \nSessions run alongside our recreational class on a Saturday 1-2pm. \nFor more information and for accessibility information\, please contact Bedwas Gymnastics Club directly.

With over 5\,000 members aged 10 to 28\, our network includes 138 YFC clubs and twelve County Federations. \n\n\nAs part of our commitment to making all activities accessible and inclusive for all\, we’ve recently trained Carys Storer Jones as our Accessibility Champion. Carys is now sharing her knowledge with fellow staff and volunteers\, helping us embed accessibility into everything we do. \n\n\nIn partnership with Piws\, we’re also proud to support young disabled adults in becoming Access Ambassadors. DESCRIPTION:The S.P.A.C.E. (Stakeholder Parents and Carers Engagement) meetings are a vital initiative providing a welcoming space for parents\, carers\, and experts to come together. These meetings offer an opportunity to share experiences\, discuss the challenges and successes of supporting disabled and seriously ill children and young adults\, and raise awareness of best practices. By fostering a sense of community and solidarity\, the S.P.A.C.E. meetings aim to make a real difference for families navigating the complexities of caring for children with special needs. Join us in building a supportive network and improving the lives of those who need it most! \nRegister here for meetings\nTerms of reference  \nWho is Invited to Attend? \n\nParents of a disabled child\nPeople with living experience of a disability\nSocial care\, health\, and well-being providers\nEducation providers\nThird sector and charity organisations\nProviders offering and seeking solutions\n\nHow the Meetings Takes Place? \n\nMeetings will alternate between five Universities across Wales: Bangor\, Wrexham\, Aberystwyth\, Swansea and Cardiff.\nFace-to-face attendees can join from 9:30am to network\n(tea and coffee available).\nOnline connection is available from 10am to 11am via Teams – all registered for this meeting are supplied with a team’s invitation.\nThese meetings are held through the medium of English and minutes are provided in both Welsh and English\, please let us know if you would be more comfortable speaking through your language of choice.\nFace-to-face networking will continue from 11am to midday.\n\nWhat is Discussed? \nCurrent projects\, solutions\, challenges\, funding\, and opportunities are all on the agenda. We encourage all to share their latest updates by emailing davina.carey-evans@familyfund.org.uk for inclusion in the news roundup at the start of each meeting. \nEach meeting features three speakers\, giving a 10-minute presentation. Our aim is to include a diverse range of voices\, with a parent with lived experience or a disabled young adult\, another representing an organisation to discuss their project and its local impact\, and a third from a provider\, who will share insights on the challenges they faced\, the steps taken to address them\, and the benefits of making their services more accessible. SUMMARY:Disability Gymnastics Session
DESCRIPTION:Bedwas Gymnastics Club provides a safe\, effective and friendly environment in which our members can participate in pre-school\, recreational and competitive gymnastics under the guidance of our qualified coaches. Our British Gymnastics Association GymMark accreditation provides a formal recognition of those achievements. \n\n\n\n​The club is over 45 years old and we have our very own purpose-built facility. We are affiliated with the British Gymnastics and Welsh Gymnastics governing bodies. \n​We have a large team of qualified coaches and sports leaders that dedicate their time to the gymnastics club. All coaches are registered members of the British Gymnastics Association\, are first aid trained and have a safeguarding children qualification. All staff hold a current DBS. \n​Our competition  classes work towards regional and national gradings each year and also achieve club certificates and badges for mastering specific skills. \n​A Community Interest Company (CIC)\, we are mainly run on a volunteer basis\, charging only those fees necessary to run the club. We both thrive and depend upon the community and parental support that we gratefully receive. We have an amazing group of parents who volunteer their time to help with admin.  \n\n\n\nDisability Gymnastics Sessions (4-16 yrs) \nWe are proud to be able to offer disability gymnastics sessions. We have 3 qualified coaches who have attended a disability coaching module and we have also trained sports leaders on awareness around disability gymnastics. \nSessions run alongside our recreational class on a Saturday 1-2pm. \nFor more information and for accessibility information\, please contact Bedwas Gymnastics Club directly.

DESCRIPTION:Supporting young people to become successful individuals\nWales Federation of Young Farmers Clubs: Committed to Accessibility and Inclusion\nWe have multiple events\, taking place across Wales\, please visit our events page here\n\n\n\nThe Wales Federation of Young Farmers Clubs is a voluntary youth organisation that operates bilingually across rural Wales. With over 5\,000 members aged 10 to 28\, our network includes 138 YFC clubs and twelve County Federations. \n\n\nAs part of our commitment to making all activities accessible and inclusive for all\, we’ve recently trained Carys Storer Jones as our Accessibility Champion. Carys is now sharing her knowledge with fellow staff and volunteers\, helping us embed accessibility into everything we do. \n\n\nIn partnership with Piws\, we’re also proud to support young disabled adults in becoming Access Ambassadors. This helps ensure we are making the right decisions—so that everyone can feel confident and welcome at our events and clubs. \n\n\nIf you have accessibility needs and would like to get involved\, we’d love to hear from you. SUMMARY:Disability Gymnastics Session
DESCRIPTION:Bedwas Gymnastics Club provides a safe\, effective and friendly environment in which our members can participate in pre-school\, recreational and competitive gymnastics under the guidance of our qualified coaches. Our British Gymnastics Association GymMark accreditation provides a formal recognition of those achievements. \n\n\n\n​The club is over 45 years old and we have our very own purpose-built facility. We are affiliated with the British Gymnastics and Welsh Gymnastics governing bodies. \n​We have a large team of qualified coaches and sports leaders that dedicate their time to the gymnastics club. All coaches are registered members of the British Gymnastics Association\, are first aid trained and have a safeguarding children qualification. All staff hold a current DBS. \n​Our competition  classes work towards regional and national gradings each year and also achieve club certificates and badges for mastering specific skills. \n​A Community Interest Company (CIC)\, we are mainly run on a volunteer basis\, charging only those fees necessary to run the club. We both thrive and depend upon the community and parental support that we gratefully receive. We have an amazing group of parents who volunteer their time to help with admin.  \n\n\n\nDisability Gymnastics Sessions (4-16 yrs) \nWe are proud to be able to offer disability gymnastics sessions. We have 3 qualified coaches who have attended a disability coaching module and we have also trained sports leaders on awareness around disability gymnastics. \nSessions run alongside our recreational class on a Saturday 1-2pm. \nFor more information and for accessibility information\, please contact Bedwas Gymnastics Club directly.
