DESCRIPTION:The theme this year is “Do you see me?”\, focusing on ensuring people with learning disabilities are seen\, heard\, and valued\, according to Mencap. It’s a week-long initiative to raise awareness and promote inclusion for individuals with learning disabilities across the six counties of North Wales.  \n\n\nElaboration:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDate:\n\nLearning Disability Week in North Wales will be held from Monday\, June 15th to Sunday\, June 21st\, 2026.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTheme:\n\nThe theme for 2026 is “Do you see me?”\, emphasizing the importance of recognizing the identities\, contributions\, and voices of individuals with learning disabilities.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFocus:\n\nThe week aims to raise awareness\, challenge stigma\, and promote inclusion for people with learning disabilities in North Wales.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCollaboration:\n\nVarious learning disability organizations across North Wales are joining forces to mark Learning Disability Week in a collaborative manner.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMencap’s Role:\nMencap is the charity that launched Learning Disability Week and is also involved in the 2026 event\, See Mencap webpage.
