DESCRIPTION:A club for individuals aged 16 to 25 who have additional needs but will not be eligible to any statutory services. \nThe aim of these groups is to provide a welcoming and supportive community for young adults who may feel marginalized or misunderstood by mainstream society. \nOur primary goal is to create a safe and relaxing space where individuals can freely express themselves without fear of judgment or discrimination. We understand the challenges that young adults face as they navigate through life\, and our group will provide a platform for open and honest discussions about these issues. Furthermore\, we will offer guidance and support to help our members address any challenges they may encounter. We are committed to connecting young adults with the resources and assistance they need to thrive. \nIn addition to our regular meetings\, we plan to organize trips every couple of months to places of interest suggested by our members. DESCRIPTION:Llwybrau Llesiant develop a variety of groups and activities across Gwynedd. These can vary from weekly groups to one off events. The aim of these activities are to promote the wellbeing of adults with learning disabilities\, whether that is physical\, emotional or social wellbeing.  Check out the monthly activities here   \nHow can the team promote the well-being of individuals with learning disabilities?\nLlwybrau Llesiant is developing various groups and activities across Gwynedd\, and on-line. The purpose of these is to promote the physical\, emotional and social well-being of individuals with learning disabilities. \nBy taking part in some of the activities that are available\, it is hoped that many more of the individuals with whom we work will join us on the pathway to well-being. Furthermore\, we can use the skills we have learned and the friends we have made in our everyday lives. \nWe work with individuals with learning disabilities to work towards things that are important to them. This can include meeting new people\, finding voluntary work\, facilitating the process of finding college courses and much more.

These meetings offer an opportunity to share experiences\, discuss the challenges and successes of supporting disabled and seriously ill children and young adults\, and raise awareness of best practices. By fostering a sense of community and solidarity\, the S.P.A.C.E. meetings aim to make a real difference for families navigating the complexities of caring for children with special needs. Join us in building a supportive network and improving the lives of those who need it most! \nRegister here for meetings\nTerms of reference  \nWho is Invited to Attend? \n\nParents of a disabled child\nPeople with living experience of a disability\nSocial care\, health\, and well-being providers\nEducation providers\nThird sector and charity organisations\nProviders offering and seeking solutions\n\nHow the Meetings Takes Place? \n\nMeetings will alternate between five Universities across Wales: Bangor\, Wrexham\, Aberystwyth\, Swansea and Cardiff.\nFace-to-face attendees can join from 9:30am to network\n(tea and coffee available).\nOnline connection is available from 10am to 11am via Teams – all registered for this meeting are supplied with a team’s invitation.\nThese meetings are held through the medium of English and minutes are provided in both Welsh and English\, please let us know if you would be more comfortable speaking through your language of choice.\nFace-to-face networking will continue from 11am to midday.\n\nWhat is Discussed? \nCurrent projects\, solutions\, challenges\, funding\, and opportunities are all on the agenda. DESCRIPTION:Llwybrau Llesiant develop a variety of groups and activities across Gwynedd. These can vary from weekly groups to one off events. The aim of these activities are to promote the wellbeing of adults with learning disabilities\, whether that is physical\, emotional or social wellbeing.  Check out the monthly activities here   \nHow can the team promote the well-being of individuals with learning disabilities?\nLlwybrau Llesiant is developing various groups and activities across Gwynedd\, and on-line. The purpose of these is to promote the physical\, emotional and social well-being of individuals with learning disabilities. \nBy taking part in some of the activities that are available\, it is hoped that many more of the individuals with whom we work will join us on the pathway to well-being. Furthermore\, we can use the skills we have learned and the friends we have made in our everyday lives. \nWe work with individuals with learning disabilities to work towards things that are important to them. This can include meeting new people\, finding voluntary work\, facilitating the process of finding college courses and much more.

With over 5\,000 members aged 10 to 28\, our network includes 138 YFC clubs and twelve County Federations. \n\n\nAs part of our commitment to making all activities accessible and inclusive for all\, we’ve recently trained Carys Storer Jones as our Accessibility Champion. Carys is now sharing her knowledge with fellow staff and volunteers\, helping us embed accessibility into everything we do. \n\n\nIn partnership with Piws\, we’re also proud to support young disabled adults in becoming Access Ambassadors. DESCRIPTION:A club for individuals aged 16 to 25 who have additional needs but will not be eligible to any statutory services. \nThe aim of these groups is to provide a welcoming and supportive community for young adults who may feel marginalized or misunderstood by mainstream society. \nOur primary goal is to create a safe and relaxing space where individuals can freely express themselves without fear of judgment or discrimination. We understand the challenges that young adults face as they navigate through life\, and our group will provide a platform for open and honest discussions about these issues. Furthermore\, we will offer guidance and support to help our members address any challenges they may encounter. We are committed to connecting young adults with the resources and assistance they need to thrive. \nIn addition to our regular meetings\, we plan to organize trips every couple of months to places of interest suggested by our members.
