SUMMARY:Mountain Ash Fly Fishing Association
DESCRIPTION:Penderyn\n\n\n\n\nOver the past few years M.A.F.F.A. has undertaken a range of improvements at Penderyn aimed at installing new and updating existing facilities for the benefit of members and visitors alike\, enabling us also to accommodate schools\, groups and organisations\, such as our local Scouts\, who wish to try fly-fishing for themselves. Please see the Photo’s below \nThe Association is extremely indebted to the support and commitment of Natural Resources Wales\, Tower Fund and several other funding bodies\, notably Meadow Prospects\, Interlink\, The Welsh Church Act Fund and the National Lottery’s. \nAwards for All Wales Fund\, all of which have supported our endeavours to improve facilities for the benefit of angling at Penderyn Reservoir. \nWorking in partnership with Natural Resources Wales\, we have undertaken improvements to our car park and pathways\, making them disabled friendly\, we have installed disabled casting platforms\, as well as stairways enabling access along our stone reservoir banks and we have constructed a boat-mooring pontoon which provides easy access to our boats. All of these following on from the erection of our anglers’ cabin which was sourced through our own funds and erected by club volunteers. \nWe have recently installed a mini wind-turbine\, solar panels and lighting courtesy of a grant from Awards for All Wales and we have now acquired a wheely-boat to enable anglers with a range of disabilities\, particularly wheelchair anglers to experience boat fishing. \nThe Association holds its meetings at the Hirwaun Rugby Club\, 32\, High Street\, Hirwaun CF44 9SL.  \nMembers meet at the Hirwaun Rugby Club on most Thursdays from 7:30 pm throughout the year with fly-tying classes over the winter months. All welcome. \nThe club also holds both boat and bank competitions on venues such as\, Elan Valley\,  Penderyn Reservoir\,  Farmoor\,  Chew Valley\,  Blagdon and Llyn Clywedog.

DESCRIPTION:Pembrokeshire Vikings are an over 16s mixed ability rugby team\, enabling individuals with all types of physical and mental disabilities to engage in mainstream sport\, alongside experienced players. \n\nWe are lead by our amazing Head Coach – Simon Gardiner\, an ex Scarlets and Ospreys player\, who is supported by a strong team of assistant coaches. \n\nThe team was set initially up in November 2019\, at ‘Haverfordwest Rugby Football Club’. Since then\, we have grown massively thanks to the support of the community\, and in January 2022 we officially became based in ‘Milford Haven Rugby Football Club’.  \n​ \nWe are very excited about what the future holds for Pembrokeshire Vikings and we want as many of you to join us on our path to glory!

SUMMARY:Disability Gymnastics Session
DESCRIPTION:Bedwas Gymnastics Club provides a safe\, effective and friendly environment in which our members can participate in pre-school\, recreational and competitive gymnastics under the guidance of our qualified coaches. Our British Gymnastics Association GymMark accreditation provides a formal recognition of those achievements. \n\n\n\n​The club is over 45 years old and we have our very own purpose-built facility. We are affiliated with the British Gymnastics and Welsh Gymnastics governing bodies. \n​We have a large team of qualified coaches and sports leaders that dedicate their time to the gymnastics club. All coaches are registered members of the British Gymnastics Association\, are first aid trained and have a safeguarding children qualification. All staff hold a current DBS. \n​Our competition  classes work towards regional and national gradings each year and also achieve club certificates and badges for mastering specific skills. \n​A Community Interest Company (CIC)\, we are mainly run on a volunteer basis\, charging only those fees necessary to run the club. We both thrive and depend upon the community and parental support that we gratefully receive. We have an amazing group of parents who volunteer their time to help with admin.  \n\n\n\nDisability Gymnastics Sessions (4-16 yrs) \nWe are proud to be able to offer disability gymnastics sessions. We have 3 qualified coaches who have attended a disability coaching module and we have also trained sports leaders on awareness around disability gymnastics. \nSessions run alongside our recreational class on a Saturday 1-2pm. \nFor more information and for accessibility information\, please contact Bedwas Gymnastics Club directly.

The club is open for children age 5 to 14 with ASD (a diagnosis is not needed to attend the club) and we welcome siblings too. We have bean bags\, mats\, bubbles\, projector\, sensory room\, wet and dry room\, arts and crafts including a bite to eat and a drink. No fee/charge for attending.

DESCRIPTION:Monmouthshire Connected Dance Company is Dance Blast’s adult inclusive dance company.\n\n\n\n\nMCDC meets at the Dance Centre every Tuesday in term time 7.30pm to 9pm. We are a company of disabled and non disabled dancers. \n​MCDC company members are a group of dedicated dancers who have made a commitment to regular weekly rehearsals and to perform as a company \n​We have performed at The Dance Centre & The Borough Theatre Abergavenny\, The Riverfront in Newport\, The Dance House &  CultVR in Cardiff and The Met in Abertillery. \n​Since 2019 MCDC has performed\, every year\, alongside our youth dance company MYDC as part of the Arts Council funded Ignite Project. \n​Dance Blast ensures that MCDC is always lead by a well respected\, highly experienced choreographer. \nSarah Rogers\, from Ransack Dance Company has been MCDC’s choreographer since September 2022. \nCLASSES RUN TERM TIME ONLY
